How AI Scoring Works

  1. Open a patent
  2. Click AI Score
  3. Choose a scoring strategy:
    • Basic — scores based on patent text alone
    • Advanced — includes web research for deeper analysis
  4. Review the AI's scores and explanation

AI Explanation

After scoring, the AI provides a written explanation of its reasoning. This includes:

  • Analysis of the patent's relevance to project goals
  • Key technical observations
  • Sources consulted (advanced mode)

Credits

Each AI scoring request costs credits:

  • Basic — 1 credit
  • Advanced — 2 credits (includes web research)

Tips

  • Ensure your project goals are detailed for better accuracy
  • Use advanced mode for patents that need deeper research
  • AI scores can be overridden manually at any time
