Diligence supports several metric field types to handle different evaluation needs.

Integer

A numeric score within a configurable min/max range.

• Example: Relevance Score (1–10)
• Configure minimum and maximum values

Boolean

A simple yes/no toggle.

• Example: Novel Approach? (Yes/No)

Text

A free-form text field for notes or short descriptions.

• Example: Key Innovation Summary

Choice

A single selection from a predefined list of options.

• Example: Technology Area (AI, Biotech, Hardware, Other)

Checklist

Multiple selections from a predefined list.

• Example: Applicable Industries (Automotive, Medical, Consumer Electronics)
