Creating Projects

Projects are the core workspace in Diligence. Each project groups a set of patents together with scoring metrics and goals.

New Project

1. Navigate to Projects from the navbar
2. Click New Project
3. Enter a name and description
4. Optionally add project goals — these guide AI scoring

Project Goals

Goals tell the AI scorer what matters to your evaluation. Be specific about:

• Technology areas of interest
• Commercial considerations
• Claim scope preferences
• Any exclusion criteria

Well-written goals significantly improve AI scoring accuracy.

Project List

All your projects appear on the Projects page. Click any project to view its patents and metrics.
